This pet grooming comb combines hair removal with ultraviolet sterilisation in a single tool. It is designed for cats and dogs and addresses the common problem of tangled, loose hair while also targeting surface germs on the coat. The source text states a germicidal rate of up to 99.8% and 360° comprehensive sterilisation. The comb measures 25.8 x 9.8 x 5.5 cm and weighs 215g, making it a handheld size for regular grooming sessions. It is available in dark green, grey, and light green. The UV lamp switches on automatically each time the unit is turned on and irradiates for 3 minutes before extinguishing. For routine use, the manufacturer recommends using it 3–4 times a week. A 4-hour charge provides 2–3 weeks of use. The light source must not be directed at eyes, and the unit should be kept away from children and water.
Features and Construction
The comb is built around two functions: removing tangled hair and applying UVC sterilisation during grooming. The source text describes it as a germicidal combing two-in-one tool. It is intended for cats and dogs and can be used as part of a regular grooming routine. The sterilisation function is not a separate step; it occurs while the comb is in use.
Material and Build
The source text does not specify the exact materials used in the comb or its housing. It describes a slicker needle comb with an integrated UV lamp. The unit weighs 215g, which gives a sense of its handheld weight. No further construction details, such as bristle material or handle composition, are provided.
Size and Practical Fit
The comb measures 25.8 x 9.8 x 5.5 cm. These dimensions indicate a compact grooming tool that can be used for cats and dogs. The 215g weight is stated in the source text. No other size options or variants are mentioned. The colour options are dark green, grey, and light green.
Uses and Placement
This comb is intended for use during pet grooming sessions. It addresses tangled hair and, according to the source text, provides ultraviolet sterilisation at the same time. It can be used as part of a home grooming routine or in professional settings where cats and dogs are groomed. The automatic 3-minute cycle means the UV light operates for a set period each time the unit is switched on.
Event or Professional Use
For groomers or pet care professionals, the comb offers a combined grooming and sterilisation step. The source text does not make specific claims about professional-grade performance beyond the stated germicidal rate and 360° sterilisation. The 3–4 times per week usage recommendation is given in the source text and can be followed in professional settings as well.
Everyday Home Use
For pet owners at home, the comb can be used as part of a regular grooming routine. It removes tangled hair from cats and dogs. The UV lamp operates automatically for 3 minutes after the unit is turned on. The recommended frequency is 3–4 times a week. A 4-hour charge provides 2–3 weeks of use, according to the source text.
Benefits and Buying Value
The main practical benefit is that grooming and sterilisation happen in one step. This can reduce the number of tools needed during a grooming session. The source text states a germicidal rate of up to 99.8% and 360° comprehensive sterilisation. The comb is designed for cats and dogs and is available in three colours. The automatic timer means the UV light does not need to be manually switched off after each use.
Reuse and Low Maintenance
The comb is rechargeable. A 4-hour charge provides 2–3 weeks of use, according to the source text. The UV lamp irradiates automatically for 3 minutes each time the unit is switched on, then extinguishes. The source text does not provide specific cleaning instructions beyond keeping the unit away from water. No replacement parts or maintenance schedules are mentioned.
